How do I make direct deposits?
The easiest way to deposit funds to your Spending Account is by direct deposit from your employer.
To make direct deposits through your employer or payroll provider, provide them with your routing number and Spending Account number. We take care of the rest.
Your funds will automatically post to your Spending Account as soon as we receive them.
To get started, you can find your bank routing number and Spending Account number in the app sections, Move Money and Settings, or by logging in to your account online.
How do I make bank transfers to my Spending Account?
External banks allow transfers from their websites and apps.
To get started:
- Log in to your old bank's website or app.
- Look for the Transfer menu option.
- In the transfer screen, you can add your routing and account number, found in the app on the Settings page.

How do I make a bank transfer that initiates?
You can link an external bank account you own to your Spending Account using the app through the Move Money section, or by logging in to your account online.
In the mobile app:
- Under Move Money, select Transfers.
- When you are prompted, enter your other bank’s login credentials.
Your external bank account will be instantly linked to your Spending Account.
The list of supported banks includes Bank of America, Capital One, Chase, Citi, PNC, Regions Bank, TD Bank, U.S. Bank, USAA, Wells Fargo, and many others. When you're ready to link an external bank account in the app, you'll be able to search for your bank to see if it's supported.
Once the external account is linked, you can make unlimited transfers from the external account to your Spending Account. Transferred funds will be available within five (5) business days.
If you get an error when using the app to transfer money from a linked external account into your Spending Account, try logging into the external account and transferring the money from there. To do this, you may need your account number and routing number, which you can find in the app under Settings.
How can I deposit cash to my Spending Account?

You can deposit cash in your Spending Account at over 90,000 retail locations (like Walmart, Walgreens, and 7-Eleven) with our cash deposit partners. To find a cash deposit partner near you, go to the app, tap Move Money, select Deposit cash, and tap See locations near me.
At the retail location, ask the cashier to make a deposit to your Spending Account. You can make up to 3 deposits every 24 hours. You can add up to $1,000.00 every 24 hours for a maximum of $10,000.00 every month.
Third-party money transfer services that are used to add funds to your Spending Account may impose their own fees or limits such as:
- Fees per transaction
- Daily, weekly, or monthly limits on the frequency or the amount of cash you may add to the Spending Account
Can I make wire transfers to my Spending Account?
We do not currently allow wire transfers. We will be adding this feature in the future.
How do I enroll in Mobile Check Deposit?
We will determine if you are eligible for Mobile Check Deposit based on the history of any accounts you have, direct deposit history, direct deposit amounts, and other risk-based factors. For example, We offer Mobile Check Deposit to members who have received at least one direct deposit of $1 or more since June 1, 2021* from one of the following sources:
- Employer or payroll provider
- Gig economy payer via automated clearing house (ACH) transfer or Original Credit Transaction (OCT)
- Government benefits
Thirty days after you receive your payroll direct deposit, Mobile Check Deposit will be automatically enabled in your mobile app. You may receive access to the feature based on other risk-based factors.
*If you already had access to Mobile Check Deposit before June 1, 2021, you can still use the feature even if you haven’t had a qualifying direct deposit since that date.
When you deposit cash to your Spending Account, it is transferred by a third party to your account. Your funds will be FDIC insured once the bank holding your account receives the funds from the third party.
